Qin Shuang has died once.
In his previous life, he was a nuclear physics prodigy. At the very last moment before his experiment succeeded, a traitor shot him through the heart.
In this life, he is a baby who has just turned one, unable to even control his tongue.
The orc shaman sacrificed his life to divine Qin Shuang’s existence: a soul from another world, inhabiting the body of a child under ten.
The entire Northern Frontier is hunting him.
He has nothing except the knowledge he accumulated in the modern world.
But in a world of elves, orcs, demigods, and dragons, that may not be as useful as an iron sword.
This is not a novel where the protagonist is invincible from the start.
It is the story of a baby surviving in a world that devours the weak, trapped in a one-year-old body.
There will be the desperate indignity of fleeing, the struggle to survive, the absurdity of knowledge crushing a backward civilization, and the thrill of technology’s explosive rise.
There will be centuries of infighting among the elves, a thousand-year struggle between the Church and the Empire, the iron hooves of the orc armies, and the long journey of one person starting from nothing and gradually shifting the entire world.
If you’re willing to take your time reading
I promise things will get more and more interesting.
A note from the author:
I first started writing in college fifteen years ago. I set the story aside for a long time, then spent a month polishing it again up to today. The outline alone is 130,000 words. The early writing is rough, but after forty chapters, the words began to flow more easily.
I will see this story through to the end.
Because to me, this is not a novel. It is a history, with lighthearted moments, heavy burdens, and the sorrow of sacrifice.
