The story of Chu Yun, a lovesick, sweet-faced-but-black-hearted martial arts master and master of Cloud Sword Manor, and Sheng Ran, an overworked city wage slave. The male lead seems gentle and refined on the surface, but has an intense need for affection and is a brooding, obsessive yandere. The female lead is steady at her core. Though she seems tolerant and open-minded, she is cold inside and trusts no one. This is a story of two people saving each other, or of two souls sinking together.
