Construction work at a scenic site accidentally unearthed the ancient tomb of a Song dynasty princess.
A thousand-year-old ghostly beauty returned to the world and slaughtered her enemies from a past life, her murderous fury reaching the heavens.
Everyone feared she would come for their lives. Only I knew the truth:
In her past life, I was the maid who gave her life to protect her, and the closest friend she had never forgotten in a thousand years.
She is merciless to the world, but tender to me beyond words.
When Taoists tried to suppress her and the world misunderstood her, I stood by her as we faced our karmic ties and cleared the name that had been wrongfully tarnished for a thousand years.
Separated by life and death, reunited by fate. This time, I’ll protect her and give her a lifetime of peace.
