After Giving Up My Commandery Princess Title, I Drag the Blind Grand Tutor Back to the Mountains to Become a Bandit

Three years ago, Chu Ninghe carried a hundred corpses for a hundred miles to save the lives of everyone in the Hou residence. In the end, she was still cast aside. She had had more than enough of a life ruled by palace schemes and forces beyond her control. So she gave up her title as a princess and fled in the dead of night. Before leaving, she made sure to take one person with her: Grand Tutor Qin! Once powerful enough to sway the entire court, he was a man of extraordinary talent. Everyone said Grand Tutor Qin was blind, cold-hearted, proud, and impossible to approach. But once a phoenix had fallen, even the royal family abandoned him. Chu Ninghe didn’t care. “Grand Tutor Qin, the capital is boring. Come back to the mountains with me and become a bandit.” She dragged the once-revered imperial tutor into Qingfeng Stockade. From then on, the mountains were home to a lawless female bandit chief and her aloof, self-possessed “bandit husband.” She was domineering and brazen, beating up anyone who crossed her. He was a peerless strategist, able to thwart attacks and read people with just a few quiet words. The authorities come to wipe them out? No problem. Enemies come after them? He’ll handle them. Others mock her as a bandit and him as a prisoner? Chu Ninghe steps in front of him. “Since when do you get to judge my man?” Free in the mountains, with the breeze for company. Palace intrigue and schemes are long forgotten. All that remains is a carefree pair of bandits, living wild and sweet among the hills. She gives up her riches, steals away the grand tutor, and claims a mountain as her own. That is the life Chu Ninghe wants.
