“Once Jieting falls, the entire Northern Expedition is doomed.”
Those eight cold words in the history books had become Wei Yan's worst nightmare after he transmigrated.
When he awoke, he had become Wei Yan, the Three Kingdoms general said to have “a rebellious bone in his head.” Before him lay the battlefield at Jieting, where the fate of Shu Han would be decided.
Ma Su had already led the army up an isolated mountain, while Zhang He and fifty thousand cavalry were closing in on the city. The wheels of history were turning mercilessly toward that age-old tragedy.
But this time, a different hand held the pieces.
As a history student from later generations, he knew better than anyone: the first Northern Expedition was the closest Shu Han ever came to success! “Heaven did not favor the Han” was pure nonsense. The defeat hinged on Jieting, and so did the chance of victory!
Restrain Ma Su, seize command, and use eight hundred volunteers ready to die as bait to lure Zhang He's fifty thousand troops beneath the isolated mountain.
Everyone thought Jieting was destined to fall, but Wei Wenchang would only advance, never retreat!
Zhang He? I'll make sure your siege fails and your retreat is cut off!
Guo Huai? I'll shatter your elite cavalry against the passes of Longshan!
History? In my hands, I'll turn every blood-soaked regret around!
From the deadly trap at Jieting to a great victory in Longyou, from governor of Hanzhong to the spearhead of the Northern Expedition.
Zhuge Liang discovered that the “Wei Yan” he had once viewed with suspicion had become his sharpest sword and most steadfast shield.
Political schemes at court? I'll crush them with military victories!
Wu's treacherous attack? I'll quell it with an iron fist!
Cao Wei's invading armies? I'll defeat them under the banner of Han!
This time, there would be no regret over the Ziwu Valley plan and no tragedy of internal strife.
Only Wei Yan, blade in hand and astride his horse, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Marquis of Wu, in this desperate struggle...
Carving out a glorious future for Shu Han!
Watch Wei Yan, a man transmigrated from a later age, use Jieting as a fulcrum to tip the balance of the entire Three Kingdoms!
There are really not many books that allow me to read the latest books in two or three days. The front has a bit of an AI flavor, but the back is still okay. The plot of the whole book is still very compact. My inner rating is probably 8 points or above.
The writing is pretty good and the logic makes sense. I give it a big thumbs up.
Clear structure, substantial content, great book! What a great book!
Good looking, logical thinking. The plot is compact. Good book. 🙂
Not bad, pretty good. Different from Shuangwen, this one is more realistic.
Very good, controlling the plot and characters. Does not flow on the surface.
There is no one-sided writing and no system, which I like.
What a great book. The Northern Expedition to the Central Plains is just around the corner. The Prime Minister won this time.
A good book, the battle process is completed in one go, and I was attracted immediately.
Very good. Keep up the good work.
