The Guest of Honor

I wanted to be a lazy young lady from a wealthy family, living off the fat of the land until the end of my days. But on my sixteenth birthday, I somehow got bound to an inspirational money-making System! This System is useless. All it does is nag me to make money. It’s a complete weakling, and I really want to swear at it. What am I supposed to do? I thought I’d only need to clock in and do my job, but then I accidentally overheard the eldest daughter of the Xiao family inside the walls, plotting to rebel against the emperor. It turned out the child she was carrying wasn’t the emperor’s, but the bastard she’d conceived after having an affair with an outsider. But they were discovered, and she was framed as a refugee. Little me just can’t accept this! A perfectly good young lady from a prominent family has become a prisoner. Oh, my goodness! Along the way, I witnessed all kinds of brutal scenes. Some people were so hungry they even ate two-legged sheep. Thankfully, I built up shops and a family business little by little. I changed my identity and slowly pulled the fallen Luo family back up. I also had to expose the Xiao family’s rebellion. Only wiping out the Xiao family’s nine generations will satisfy my hatred!!!!

No melodramatic feuds or tangled romances. She uses a few modern ideas to run a little shop, making a great success of membership programs, word of mouth, and innovative businesses.

Her family supports her, the marketplace is peaceful, business rivals play fair, and the authorities act justly.

She takes it easy and slacks off, all while the System chases her to make money. Watch as this laid-back heiress steadily makes her way through life and becomes an honored guest whom everyone respects.

A lighthearted comedy with no romance, focused on everyday business. Easygoing, with characters who keep their wits about them.
