She Became a Sensation in Holographic Esports Through Floral Design

Lin Wan chose the widely mocked flower-vase class in Destiny: the Flower Spirit Envoy.

During her livestream debut, she used a series of "floral arrangement" moves to send the top player on the server straight into the enemy team's crosshairs, causing his humiliating defeat and making him a laughingstock. His fans flooded her comments: "Useless flower vase, get out of esports!"

Three months later, at the World Championship finals, everyone thought the Chinese team was finished against Korea's powerhouse squad.

Lin Wan calmly raised her jade flute. Flowers blossomed across the arena in an instant, weaving into a dazzling formation. The opponents lost their way amid the heady fragrance and shifting illusions, while their own star player plunged his sword through an enemy's heart to score the decisive kill.

After the match, the top player she'd once led into disaster cornered her backstage. His ears flushed pink, and his voice dropped low. "Your flower formation... could it bloom just for me?"
