A Fake Eunuch in the Inner Palace: I Rise to the Throne with the Consorts' Help

Chen An transmigrates into the body of an old palace eunuch, nearly sixty years old and about to be sent out of the palace to die. Who would have thought he was still a virgin, and that, in his desperate predicament, he would activate the [Nine-Dragon Jade Seal] System! [System: Nine-Dragon Jade Seal] [Effect: By forming a “deep bond” with royal women who bear dragon qi, such as empresses, empress dowagers, princesses, and consorts, you can absorb their dragon qi, regain your youth, and gain control over the forces behind them!] That very night, the disgraced empress is poisoned and lies at death's door. Chen An appears in secret, saves her with his miraculous medical skills, and reveals his “manly vigor,” earning her “initial bond.” He not only regains ten years of youth, but also wins the secret support of the empress's maternal clan. In the Cold Palace, an abandoned princess goes hungry and suffers constant abuse. Chen An brings her charcoal and fine food, uses his wits to help her overcome a crisis, and becomes the only person she can rely on. When she first begins to fall in love, he quietly claims the purest dragon qi within her. The empress dowager, whose power reaches across the court, spends every night alone and harbors great ambition. Chen An becomes her confidant, sometimes forceful and domineering, sometimes gentle and tender. Little by little, he wears down her defenses, until the most exalted woman in the empire becomes a shadow at his beck and call. The emperor is incompetent, treacherous ministers hold sway, and the princes fight among themselves. Chen An is only an obscure old eunuch, yet without anyone noticing, he uses the ladies of the imperial harem to seize control of the empire's lifeblood.
