I Had No Choice but to Fall in Love with My Childhood Friend

[Dual male leads / reborn / taking down scumbags / childhood friends x childhood friends / sweet with a hint of angst / happy ending]

Wei Xi thought this had to be the unluckiest day of his life.

First, his childhood friend, whom he’d known since they were little, refused to attend his engagement party. Then, the very next second, a driver ran a red light and sent him flying across the road.

And then he was reborn.

In this new life, he discovered that many things were different.

The mother he’d thought was always distant from him actually loved him dearly. The boyfriend he’d thought loved him deeply had ulterior motives for being with him. And the childhood friend who had been set on studying abroad had, against all expectations, stayed behind...

Taking advantage of his second chance at life, Wei Xi began to take another look at the people around him. The disguises they had worn in front of him now seemed so clumsy.

He thought he had seen through everyone around him, only to realize he had never seen through his childhood friend, Xie Jinnian.

He hates that scar.
