2K System: Aldridge Shooting from the Start

Lin Feng was an ordinary Chinese basketball fan, an advertising copywriter earning 3,000 yuan a month, whose biggest dream was to watch an NBA game in person.

Then he was crushed to death by a 200-pound fat guy from Florida.

When he woke up, he had become Jason Richards, a not-so-dark-skinned Black senior at Edgewater High School in the United States. He stood two meters tall with a 2.1-meter wingspan, played power forward, and had obvious natural talent, but his game was as soft as toilet paper.

Even crazier, he now had a “2K Attribute Upgrade System” in his head.

The System's cold prompt read: [Current overall rating: 55. Overall assessment: End-of-the-bench player. Recommendation: Practice harder.]

Lin Feng: ??? Weren't transmigrations supposed to start at the top?

System: Beginner's gift pack delivered: 10 attribute points and one move package draw.

Lin Feng: Now we're talking! Draw!

[Congratulations! You received: LaMarcus Aldridge Turnaround Fadeaway Package (★★★★☆)]

Lin Feng: !!! Aldridge! My childhood! Time to take off!

System: Friendly reminder: Your current post-up skill is only 35. Using this move might make you kick yourself in the foot.

Lin Feng: …

And it gets even more exciting

His childhood friend is Anfernee Simons, future NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion, currently a high school nerd who talks nonstop.

In his first EYBL game, his opponent is Deandre Ayton, the future NBA No. 1 draft pick.

Ayton utterly destroys him.

Lin Feng: System, can I return this? I want to go back to China.

System: No. But you can keep upgrading your attributes.
