Mister! You’re Forty! Marry a Spirited Young Woman

A 40-year-old divorced man gets picked up at a station by a 20-year-old free-spirited girl who livestreams. One song makes everyone in the livestream cry. She asks me, “Uncle, are you happy?” I freeze. It feels like no one has asked me that in a long time. She does a hundred backflips to earn money. I send her two Dream Castles so she’ll end the stream. She says, “I’ll take care of you.” I say, “Sure.” Later, I buy a house outright, and her best friend shouts over the phone, “He made her do it seven times last night!” My blind date turns green with envy, the principal is shocked, and my childhood friend says I’ve gone crazy. So what if I’m forty? So what if she’s twenty? As long as we love each other, that’s enough.
