In his previous life, Zhang Liang was tormented by his bully neighbors, Zhao Hu and his wife, until his family was destroyed. They disturbed the neighborhood with noise, faked injuries to extort money, and spread rumors online. In the end, he died miserably at the hands of a fruit knife, having spent his whole life as a spineless coward.
Reborn in a new life, he binds himself to a Cowardice Reset System, which comes with a ridiculous bug that makes him follow other people’s suggestions 50% of the time. This time, he swears to tear off the label of cowardice and make the wicked pay for their crimes!
They fake injuries with red medicine? He puts the security footage on display for everyone to see, leaving the vicious neighbors publicly humiliated. They pick his lock and tamper with the gas valve in the dead of night? High-definition video and fingerprint evidence send them straight to prison. They spread rumors with banners and slander him online? He counters with a defamation lawsuit, then turns the tables on them in a livestream until she kneels and apologizes!
But along the way, he unexpectedly takes in three “little burdens.” After Zhao Hu and his wife are arrested, their three adorable children, left with no one to care for them, timidly cling to him. Seeing their painful pasts and innocent eyes, Zhang Liang’s heart softens.
His Cowardice Reset mission unexpectedly becomes tied to raising children! He turns his career around and earns a promotion, makes sure his wicked neighbors get what they deserve in court, and becomes a super dad at home, helping the children heal from their childhood trauma.
From a pushover who was bullied to a fearless protector, Zhang Liang stands his ground every step of the way. The System’s bug works out in his favor, and the adorable kids lend heartwarming support. See how he tears into his wicked neighbors and builds his career, while spoiling three troubled children until they blossom into sunny, happy kids, living a very different life after being reborn!
