Shadows of Espionage: Survival in a Cage

In 1944, as Beiping nears the end of its occupation, the city is shrouded in darkness.

Lin Feng, a modern-day history student, unexpectedly becomes an undercover agent trapped in the city.

He survives under the Japanese army's blades, posing as an agent of the Military Statistics Bureau.

Coded messages on walls, newspaper ciphers, danger lurking by the bedside, surveillance in hospital wards.

Trust can be betrayed, comrades may be enemies, and the truth lies beyond three successive twists.

He knows how history will unfold, but can't predict whether he'll live to see the next second.

Before dawn breaks, he must find a way out under the tightest surveillance,

using his wits alone to fight his way through the Special Higher Police's web.

This is an undercover mission with no second chances, and one ordinary man's desperate struggle to survive in a chaotic age.
