When the stage lights go dark, the real audience has only just arrived.
At the dawn of the universe, there were three “Old Gods”:
· The Audience: observers who give existence meaning
· The Actor: a performer who gives stories form
· The Theater: a vessel that gives the stage its boundaries
Thirty thousand years ago, the three Old Gods fell out over a “dispute about the script.” The Audience devoured the Theater, and the Actor fell into eternal slumber. The Old Gods perished, but their fragments scattered across the mortal world. Those chosen became “heirs of the Old Gods,” with the remnants of divinity flowing through their veins.
