To fulfill his wish of taking a graduation trip, Zhang Yihua heads to Hoh Xil. He watches Tibetan antelopes and a snow leopard hunt, but a hunting vehicle startles the predator. Enraged, the beast attacks Zhang Yihua, leaving him injured.
When he wakes, his eyes have gained the power to see through all things and glimpse the traces of time. He can even see into the hearts of living creatures and form contracts with spirit beasts.
Late one night, a golden point of light appears in his pupils once more and pulls him into another world, where spirit beasts roam, cultivators soar through the skies, and spirit herbs grow everywhere. Relying on his strange eyes, he contracts with spirit beasts and struggles to survive in this unfamiliar world.
From then on, he lives between two worlds. In the other world, he uses modern veterinary medicine to treat spirit beasts and trades salt for spirit stones, quietly building his first fortune. In his own world, he uses spirit fruit to ease the pain of Su Qing, who was left with a leg injury when she saved him as a child, yet he never dares tell her the truth.
He saves a young herb gatherer named Xiao Shitou and meets Yun Lan, an inner-sect disciple of the Spirit Beast Sect. They fight side by side, and feelings begin to blossom between them.
When Su Qing finally discovers his secret and enters the other world, the two women meet for the first time, and tensions simmer in a fierce love triangle. Meanwhile, the schemes of powerful families, the Demonflame Sect's revenge, waves of attacking spirit beasts, and a prophecy of a once-in-a-thousand-years demonic tide all draw closer.
From Hoh Xil to the Cangxuan Realm, Zhang Yihua transforms from a frail boy knocked down by a snow leopard into a chosen one who connects two worlds. He gradually comes to understand that his power is no blessing. It is his calling to see the truth of the world and protect the lives that cannot speak for themselves.
When the demonic tide arrives and both worlds face destruction, he finally understands what he must protect: the two worlds and the two people dearest to him.
Hope it gets better and better, thank you
