Synopsis
In her previous life, Lin Wanxing was gentle and weak. Trusting the wrong people, she was framed and left with a ruined reputation. Her actions dragged down Lu Tingzhou, the upright young police officer who loved her with all his heart, leaving him injured in the line of duty and destroying his future. In the end, both of them met tragic fates.
Reborn in the late 1970s, she returns to the very day someone falsely accuses her of making improper advances.
This time, Lin Wanxing is a different person: lively and bold, with incredible fighting skills and a knack for putting people in their place and standing up for her loved ones.
She takes down the troublemakers, delivers face-slapping comeuppances to the wicked, and makes money and builds her fortune. She does it all.
When it comes to the cool-headed, upright young police officer Lu Tingzhou, she no longer nervously avoids him. Instead, she takes the initiative, acting cute and playing coy as she boldly pursues him, until she leaves his ears burning red.
Lu Tingzhou: “You are forbidden from interfering with official business during an investigation.”
Lin Wanxing tilts her head and grins, cracking her knuckles. “Officer Lu, I’m assisting with the investigation and, while I’m at it... pursuing you.”
Later, everyone is amazed to see that the stern, aloof Captain Lu, who never shows emotion, spoils the reborn firecracker rotten. Anyone who bothers her is the first to get handcuffed and hauled back to the station.
Life is flourishing, with a feisty wife and a police officer husband. Sweet, satisfying, and exhilarating!
