Gu Youyou is an ordinary tour guide at the Sanxingdui Museum.
Until one day, her livestream camera suddenly transmigrates through time.
On screen, a bronze sacred tree glitters with golden light, a solemn mask with protruding eyes exudes majesty, and a ritual from three thousand years ago is underway. The comments flood in: "Hurry up and explain, streamer!" "That priest is so handsome!" "Run, he's about to turn around!"
From then on, Gu Youyou leads a double life: working at the museum by day and transmigrating to ancient Shu by night to work as a part-time guide. She trades modern knowledge for ivory, protects herself with pepper spray, and teaches viewers about history while dodging pursuers on the altar.
Until she meets another "guide."
He comes from 2025, and his transmigration System is bound to the very same timeline as hers. Two different historical paths converge here: on one timeline, Sanxingdui lies buried for three thousand years; on the other, the ancient Shu civilization has survived to the present day, and the sacred tree never fell.
The choice is hers.
Should she let history remain sealed as it was, leaving people today to guess through glass? Or should she let the sacred tree sprout again and change the course of all Chinese civilization?
Gu Youyou stands at the edge of an earthquake zone three thousand years in the past, with the land beneath her feet about to split apart.
She has made her choice.
