Songs of Bluestone Alley

The Song of Qingshi Lane tells the story of novelist Chen Yan looking back on his childhood. In the alleys of Jiangnan during the early years after Liberation, he and Lin Xiaoman grow up together. From childhood sweethearts to young love, a mix-up over a letter keeps them apart for many years. When the truth emerges from the dust of time, the confessions that never reached their destination and the affection kept deep within finally become the prelude to a reunion after fate takes its twists and turns. This is a heartfelt epic about an era, misunderstandings, and healing.
