Rules for Another World

World Setting

Evinor, another world governed by “rules.”

Everything has rules: cities, dungeons, monsters, even gods.

Whoever commands the rules is invincible.

But most people rely on brute force, and only a select few can see through the rules.

Power System

- Pact Seals: Every person’s awakened ability comes with a rule they must obey.

The stronger the ability, the more vicious the rule.

- Mystery Zones: Rule-based dungeons that appear at random. Anyone who enters must obey the zone’s rules or die on the spot.

- Anomalies: Highly dangerous entities that violate the world’s fundamental rules and distort reality (the main mystery plot).

Protagonist

Lin Ji

- Before transmigrating: President of an elite deduction club, a logic fanatic, cunning, unsmiling, and exceptionally handsome.

- After transmigrating: Awakens the extremely rare Pact Seal [Absolute Rule Analysis].

Ability: Can see through any rule, weakness, or lie at a glance.

Cost: Can only say 30 words a day (talk too much and a penalty is triggered).

- Personality: Cool on the outside and ridiculously handsome, with a devious inner voice and nonstop snark. He quietly tricks people, lays plans, and solves cases.

Comic Sidekick (the mood-maker)

Lu Pang

- His real name is Lu Yuan. He’s called Lu Pang because he’s fat.

- Pact Seal: [Emotional Blast]

Whenever he gets nervous, scared, or excited, he lets out a harmless but thunderously loud blast of gas, leaving everyone mortified.

- Personality: Talkative, sunny, afraid of dying, and always cracking wise. He’s naturally funny and turns serious scenes into comedy.

- His only purpose:

To do all the talking for Lin Ji, so Lin Ji doesn’t have to say a word.
