[Arrogant, unruly, stubborn straight top x cold, obsessive, broken puppy bottom]
Qin Ye is the only son of a well-known family in the capital. Spoiled from childhood, he’s rebellious, unruly, and untouchable. After a huge fight with his family before the college entrance exams, he decides to leave home and attend a university far away. There, he meets the person who will change his life: Ji Ci.
They nearly came to blows the first time they met, but after spending time together, Qin Ye comes to think of Ji Ci, who occasionally gets handsy with him, as a good buddy. Until one day, Ji Ci confesses his feelings.
The change in their friendship troubles Qin Ye for days. When he finally decides to talk to Ji Ci, he discovers that the other man has left without a word.
They meet again five years later. Qin Ye has gone from a brash young man to the head of the Qin family, while Ji Ci, ever since their reunion, keeps running into him at every turn. He’s nothing like the cool, aloof man he used to be.
Qin Ye: “Even if you became my dog, I still wouldn’t give you the time of day.”
Ji Ci: “Woof, woof.”
Qin Ye: “?”
To Ji Ci, Qin Ye is an angel who pulled him out of the mire of hell, his salvation. Five years apart have left him suffering every day. Now that they’ve finally reunited, he won’t let Qin Ye go again.
Qin Ye looks at Ji Ci, who’s sprawled across his lap with shining eyes, and says awkwardly, “Don’t think this means I’m going to pay attention to you.” Ji Ci rubs against his hand. “That’s okay. I just want to be close to you.”
