A global gray-mist disaster breaks out, bringing modern civilization to an instant standstill. Electricity, the internet, and transportation all fail, and countless people disappear. The survivors are randomly cast into a primeval, uninhabited forest. The gray mist has transformed the forest: plants grow wildly, beasts mutate, the weather turns extreme, and the danger level rises the deeper one ventures. Ancient prehistoric human ruins lie hidden in its depths, and they are directly connected to the source of the gray mist.
