Awakened the On-Screen Comments: The Supporting Female Character Strikes Back with Her Beauty

At 22, Su Wanqing found herself backstage at the 28th Golden Shadow Awards, right at the plot point in the original story of Summer Breeze, Starlit River. She was about to follow the script and “shove the female lead, Lin Xingwan, down the stairs” when a burst of colorful text suddenly exploded before her eyes:

[!!! The vicious supporting female character, Su Wanqing, is here! In three more steps, she'll shove Lin Xingwan, get caught red-handed by Lu Zhiyuan, and become the internet's public enemy!]

[The cannon-fodder villain Lu Zhiyuan will be here any second! He came to take a bullet for Su Wanqing today, but the script will make them turn against each other!]

[This is so heartbreaking! Su Wanqing eventually falls to her death, and Lu Zhiyuan dies miserably in prison. These childhood friends clearly love each other!]

Su Wanqing froze on the spot. Drawing on years of experience as a “radiant rose,” she managed to change “shoving someone” into “helping Lin Xingwan dodge a falling lighting rig,” instantly turning the plot around.

Just then, Lu Zhiyuan arrived as expected and grabbed her wrist with a dark expression. The script said he should tell her, “You disgust me,” but he fell apart the moment Su Wanqing said, “Third Master Lu, the candy wrapper is sticking out of your cuff. You still kept that candy from when you were seven?”

Thanks to the on-screen comments, Su Wanqing saw her “vicious supporting female character” persona clearly for the first time. She also saw the fate awaiting Lu Zhiyuan, the “cannon-fodder villain,” and the secret crush he had hidden for sixteen years.
