I transmigrated to Inazuma before the Sakoku Decree. I had just enough money in my pocket for three days' meals, and the only thing I had with me was a useless System.
The System gave me a cola recipe and told me to start a street stall.
I figured, fine. I’d worry about the rest after I survived.
But then
Yoimiya took a sip, her eyes sparkling like fireworks. “The bubbles are dancing on my tongue!”
Kamisato Ayaka came calling late at night, all for a cup of “White Heron Special.”
Kujou Sara claimed it was unhealthy, but sent someone to buy more every week.
Yae Miko wiped her mouth after finishing hers. “Little one, you owe me a favor.”
I thought life would go on like that.
Until one day, I started making clothes for them
I designed a firework jacket for Yoimiya, and she ran all over town wearing it.
I sewed a white heron shawl for Ayaka. Standing in the courtyard, she said, “I feel like I could fly.”
I embroidered a fox-patterned haori for Miko. She narrowed her eyes with a smile. “Are you trying to wear me on your body?”
I made a tengu haori for Sara. She silently accepted it, and later wore it beneath her armor all the time.
I thought it was just business.
Until one night, they all showed up under the same roof wearing the dresses I'd given them, claiming it was a “chance encounter.”
The air suddenly fell silent.
Miko smiled sweetly. “Little one, you've given out quite a lot of clothes.”
Ayaka lowered her head to sip tea, her cup trembling slightly.
Sara gripped the hilt of her sword. “I-I only came to buy snacks.”
Yoimiya boomed, “Oh, everyone's here! Let's have some dango together!”
The Traveler arrived and, seeing the crowd around me, fell into deep thought.
Paimon: “Traveler, this person's eyes are really scary.”
I wanted to say, “Listen to me explain!”
