Century-old Kowloon River Town Bureau. During the Ming Dynasty, when the Yellow River burst, the Qintian Supervisor sent four Feng Shui families, Chen, Su, Zhang, and Wang, to jointly set up the Jiulong River Suppression Bureau in the Yellow River Bay to stabilize the dragon's veins and suppress floods. The four dragon-patterned jade pendants were the tokens of the four major families and the only key to opening/modifying the Bureau. The four major families have been guarding the bureau for generations, but because the ancestors of the Zhang family suggested that "the bureau has a century-old flaw and needs to be redone," the other three families joined forces to suppress it, forming a century-old feud.
