Synopsis:
There are only eight people in Women's Dorm 209, but they have thirteen WeChat groups.
“Who didn't do their turn on the chore chart?” “She's got a new boyfriend again.” “That disciplinary notice must be because of her.”
Every message is passed around in different groups, where it gets stirred up, twisted, and warped again and again.
At first, all I did was send one message in the dorm chat: “Whose turn is it to do the chores?”
The next day, I found that I'd been kicked out of seven groups.
In the little groups that remained, they said:
