Feng Shui Formation: Master of the Planes

Lin Xuan, an unemployed history graduate, discovers that his ancestral compass has inexplicably begun to heat up. It turns out to be linked to the Hetu Luoshu System.

Others read feng shui by bluffing their way through it. He reads feng shui with the genuine ability to discern the fortunes of heaven and earth. The System unlocks projections across different planes, allowing him to travel through ancient historical ruins and primordial mythic realms. From the mercury dragon vein in the First Emperor’s mausoleum, he learns the ancient art of finding dragon veins and auspicious burial sites. From the wordless stone tablet at Qianling Mausoleum, he uncovers the secret of how emperors anchor the veins. From the silk manuscript on the Five Stars from Mawangdui, he masters the secret art of averting calamities and following Heaven’s will.

He adjusts the fortunes of homes and dispels misfortune, helping ordinary people turn their luck around; seeks dragon veins and auspicious burial sites to extend a prominent clan’s fortunes for a century; anchors a city’s vital veins and protects its dragon vein, averting disasters caused by disturbances in the earth’s energy; and battles rival practitioners, taking down scoundrels who damage dragon veins.

The mysterious Dragon-Burying Pavilion is severing earth veins everywhere, seeking to trigger a world-ending calamity and bring the land to ruin. From a novice dragon-vein seeker, Lin Xuan steadily traverses the mountains and rivers of China, using feng shui to guide the calamity’s energy and defending the dragon veins with his mortal body.

Everyone says feng shui can defy Heaven and change fate, but only after a lifetime does he understand: a true master of the mystic arts is no god who controls heaven and earth, but a guardian of the land.
