A Cowherd in the Mortal Realm, a Speed Demon Across the Three Realms

Li Fan, a modern taxi driver working the night shift, dies suddenly and wakes up in the world of Journey to the West. He has become a poor cowherd in Nanzhan Buzhou, with nothing but four bare walls, and from the start, he is bound to the Dada Ride System.

At this point, there are still twenty years until the Stone Monkey is born and nearly a thousand years until the pilgrimage to the West. He doesn't steal the protagonist's halo or alter the main storyline of Journey to the West. Relying only on the skills he learned as a taxi driver, he starts with a bullock cart and steadily upgrades his vehicles, taking fares to survive in a world filled with gods and demons.

He ferries the Stone Monkey across the sea in search of immortality, delivers five hundred years' worth of supplies to Wukong beneath Five Elements Mountain, and provides transport and logistical support for the pilgrimage party throughout their journey to the West. From the Heavenly Court and the underworld to Spirit Mountain and the four seas, his tire tracks are everywhere.

He keeps a low profile and steadily grows, rising from the most humble cowherd in the mortal world to achieve the Great Way of the Mortal Ferry. In the end, he becomes a ferryman of the human world whom all the gods and demons of the Three Realms treat with respect.
