Special Forces: Forged in the Flames of War

At eighteen, Weng Feng was a naive young man helping his parents fry dough sticks at their breakfast shop in town. He had graduated from a junior college, had no connections or impressive credentials, and his future looked like a pot of thin rice porridge simmering away: mild, plain, and with nothing to it. No one could have imagined that this ordinary young man, who couldn't even do a proper push-up, would rise from the bottom of his recruit class to the top of the special forces in just a few short years, becoming a soldier feared by his enemies. This is not the story of a genius's rise, but of a piece of stubborn iron hammered and tempered over and over until it became steel. The path to military service is long and arduous. As his young shoulders bear the weight of a rifle and his burning blood seeps into the earth, he will spend ten years proving to everyone that perseverance is itself the greatest kind of extraordinary. This book is dedicated to every soul that refuses to settle for an ordinary life.
