"Light is a bond, and it passes on—but this time, it goes into the abyss."
2004, Tokyo.
Ikki Gumon is just an ordinary young man, doing an ordinary job and loving an ordinary girl. Until her girlfriend Lizi disappeared and left three words: "Kill me."
He was involved in a secret organization called TLT, and began to come into contact with the hidden truth of this world-alien beasts, cognitive pollution, and the ancient tower rising from the bottom of the sea. The tower has no will, no purpose, it just "exists". But its mere existence is enough to drive humans crazy.
There, he met Ji Yajun, a war reporter who survived the battlefield in Kosovo and the first "competent person". He told Gumen: "Light is not a weapon, it is a link. It connects the living, the dead, and the lights that are still shining and those that have been extinguished."
But light and darkness are always two ends of the same bond.

Very well written
Why do you feel like Gumen is about to get off the plane? About to be weighed
