When I joined the night shift security guard, I was assigned to dormitory 404.
The administrator left only one sentence: strictly abide by the rules and do not violate them.
1. Never get out of bed after 11pm.
2. If someone knocks on the door, no matter how familiar it is, don't open it.
3. Only the bed in the corner is safe.
4. If the rules are marked with a red pen, don't believe any of them.
I thought it was a prank until the first night when the knock on the door came as expected...
Here, breaking the rules has only one outcome - death.
And I must rely on the rules to survive.
