Sky Screen: The Darwin Incident, From the Start with the Human Alliance Declaration

Li Ming transmigrates.

In the first second after waking, a cold mechanical voice rings in his mind: [The Myriad Worlds Sky Screen System has been bound.] In the second, he makes a decision that will change countless worlds: project a video called Darwin’s Incident onto every human realm.

In the video, Charlie, a human-ape hybrid, challenges the camera: “Why can’t humans be eaten?” The extremist group ALA cheers, other races revel, and humans across the Myriad Worlds seethe with anger and humiliation.

But the next moment, the scene changes.

Amid the ruins of a nuclear blast, a bloodstained Human Federation flag rises. A hoarse voice resounds through countless worlds: “Our genes betrayed us, the gods abandoned us, and other races enslaved us, but we chose to be human! The Human Federation Declaration: What defines humanity is neither genes nor gods, but the will to choose who we are! Those who are not of our kind can never truly be trusted! The sea of stars is vast, but only humanity shall endure!”

At that moment, the God-Emperor of Warhammer 40K opens his eyes upon the Golden Throne; the president of the United Nations of Stars smashes the conference table; Marvel’s Captain America grips his shield; Zhongli of Genshin Impact sets down his teacup; Bai Yuekui of Spirit Cage stops and looks up at the sky; and Luo Ji of The Three-Body Problem smiles knowingly.
