[Private design + Darkened villain × Healing Virgin + OOC warning]
When he was seven years old, Tom Riddle picked up a dying girl in the wilderness.
He fed her bread, fended off wild dogs for her, and pulled her out of the dead.
"I picked you up, and I picked you up even if you died."
He thought it was just a whim.
But later——
Everyone in the orphanage was afraid of him, avoided him, and called him a monster.
Only she is not afraid.
She hid her candy and kept it only for him.
She turned the dead leaves into green and applied them to the wound at the corner of his mouth.
She said: "Brother is not a monster."
She said: "I keep everything you give me."
"I'm not afraid of you," she said.
Tom Riddle never trusted anyone.
But he believed her.
Until a letter from the Academy of Magic sent her to Beauxbatons.
He stood at the door of the orphanage, clutching the leaf she left behind, and whispered——
"I'll find you. Don't even try to escape."
Later he became Voldemort and everyone was afraid of him.
She was the only one who dared to touch his hand.
But she left anyway.
"Brother, I no longer rely on you. Does this count as growing up?"
He knelt in the ruins, clutching the snake-shaped ring, blood and tears mixed together——
"Am I no longer able to rely on you?"
PS: It is privately assumed that Tom did not grow up in an orphanage. Later, a male protagonist, Abu, was added.
