“Wait, I transmigrated?”
“Playing a god? That’s right up my alley.” And I can pick up some characters along the way, too, the girl thought, taking on this huge job.
A rumor is passed around among the stars: whenever someone is trapped in a nightmare, a dream-dweller will come to drive it away. She wears a blue-green robe with long water sleeves, and her blue-and-white hair is pinned up with a jade hairpin. If your ambition moves her, she will give you three gifts. All she asks for in return is your memories.
“Why do people’s hearts grow corrupt?” she asks, her eyes full of confusion, with not a trace of anger.
Some praise her generosity; others condemn her coldness.
She never pays them any mind, but accidentally discovers that her connection to this world is about more than simply having transmigrated.
