Dueling Knights: Passion Between the Blades

There is no warmth in the games played at Oletus Manor. The bullfighter Hernando’s defiant spirit shines through every flourish of his muleta, while the knight’s silver armor gleams with the cold courage of a lone warrior. They clash through pursuit and rescue, their sharp edges striking against each other. Yet in a moment between life and death, a tenderness the world cannot accept blossoms on the edge of a blade.

Elsewhere, photographer Joseph freezes time through his lens, taking a special interest in capturing the quiet composure of the embalmer Aesop Carl. Aesop keeps his distance from the world, yet he cannot ignore the gaze behind the camera. Between time and death, an intimate affection takes root.

Main pairing: Batter and Knight. Side pairing: Photographer and Embalmer.

(So basically, I finally remembered I wanted to write this. I’d been meaning to for days, but I forgot.)
