A Retired Old Woman Is Reborn at the Age Her Grandmother Was Twenty

Er Mei, a retired old woman, was reborn by accident while on a cruise, waking up in the body of her maternal grandmother, Chen Xiaoying, at the age of twenty. At the time, Chen Xiaoying was working as a housekeeper for a family. Now living as Chen Xiaoying, Er Mei faced troubles both within and without. She had to find a way to survive in this era with her young daughter, while also resolving Chen Xiaoying’s marriage and changing the hardship her grandmother had suffered in her previous life. With ten years to go until the founding of New China, she had three goals to accomplish while tackling her troubles: first, make money and build up wealth for herself and her daughter; second, learn a trade and find steady work that would carry her smoothly into a job in New China; third, raise her daughter and find her a reliable backer.
