A Scout’s Cross-Border Love

In 1970, a Chinese scout was sent to aid Vietnam. His battle-hardened prowess made him famous behind enemy lines and a major thorn in the side of the U.S. military. Wounded in battle, he met Nguyen Ngoc Han, a Vietnamese military doctor, and a love born amid the fighting quietly took root.

After the smoke of war cleared, he returned home, but the flames of conflict soon rose again. He unexpectedly came face-to-face with an elite Vietnamese soldier he had once personally trained. At the end of his rope, he leapt from a cliff, and she risked her life to save him, staying by his side for two years without ever giving up.

After decades apart, with the land at peace, he searched far and wide until he was finally reunited with the love of his life. Their deep devotion, forged in the fires of war, finally found its happy ending!
