The characters are all vivid, the rhythm is moderately fast and slow, and it is not literary, like a combination of fantasy and fairy tales. The author's writing skills are not as sophisticated as Chen Dongergen's, but the core of the story he tells is very much in the direction of those two works.
At the beginning, several dead relatives appeared around me. Was it scary?
Later, there were more and more echoes of the era, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle of ancient history.
It's a novel with a big world view that I like. Ancient Eastern mythology and other worlds are inextricably linked.
