Seventeen-year-old Qingyu is an autistic boy.
His only companion is an abandoned Charmander. One person and one elf depend on each other, hugging each other for warmth in an indifferent world.
Until that day, Charmander died in his arms in order to save him.
Qingyu hugged its cold body and cried for a long time.
When he woke up, Charmander disappeared. Instead, there was a small sapling that appeared in his mind—and the strange spiral-shaped fruit on the tree.
He ate it.
Then, he heard the elf's heart.
And, a faint but familiar voice——
Charmander is still alive. In that tree.
From that day on, Qingyu had only one goal: to find a way to resurrect Charmander.
But this world is not friendly to Devil Fruit users. A mysterious organization called "The Purifier" is hunting him, and every time he uses his power, his lifespan will be shortened by one year.
He met the talkative Xu Yang, the cold Xueno, and the cheerful Masha. They accompanied him into the lair of the Purifier, and found the black elf that had been transformed into a monster in the deepest part of the Cave of Oblivion——
That's his Charmander.
It's waiting for him.
