Ever since she could remember, Lan Lan had been groomed to lead the Bureau of Anomalies in the Superpower World.
She knew neither where she came from nor where she was going.
Just after taking office at eighteen, she received a report from one of her subordinates:
“Director, a massive breach has appeared in the Earth time-space. Its cause is unknown, and we can’t repair it.”
Lan Lan: ??? I just took office, and you’re already throwing this at me?
She slammed her hand on the desk, recalled all the team members, and went alone to the Earth time-space, casually taking over the body of a dying woman who looked exactly like her.
Investigate the breach, restore the order of time and space, and work hard!
But somehow, she ended up as the leader of the investigation team?
And every member was a well-known figure at the academy:
A short-tempered but stunningly beautiful professor with a younger-sister complex, an elegant and perceptive school doctor, and a bespectacled assistant with a wealth of knowledge;
A haughty, talkative silver-haired student council president, a gentle vice president with an extreme tendency toward self-destruction, and a red-haired boy who seemed shy and reserved but was warmhearted beneath the surface…
Why were they all gravitating toward her?

Only later did she learn that some of them had someone who had died living in their hearts. And she happened to look just like the person they had longed to see again.
What she thought would be a simple repair job instead tied her to these six people with bonds she could never sever in this lifetime.
And through this adventure, Lan Lan found both where she came from and where she belonged.
