[Multiple heroines + building a career + pocket dimension and spirit spring + historical era + reselling supplies + master physician + no saintly do-gooder + daily life + transporting goods between two worlds] Lu Changqing accidentally acquired a two-way travel System, allowing him to move back and forth between 1958 and 2026.
In this bitter famine winter, when you needed ration coupons just to buy a box of matches:
With five broken beer bottles he found in an urban village, Lu Changqing traded for two pounds of pure white noodles. With discarded thick plastic sheeting he scrounged from a construction site, he turned a drafty mud-brick house into a greenhouse.
White Rabbit milk candies, tons of aged grain, pork lard, thick thermal underwear… Modern goods poured into 1958 as if they were free!
With his peerless traditional medical skills and the spirit spring in his pocket dimension, he treated stubborn illnesses and saved important people, gradually building an impregnable safety net. From a small mountain village in the northeast, he surged ahead and forged an empire in his time.
…
And in modern society in 2026:
A hundred-year-old wild ginseng he casually dug up in the deep mountains of 1958, a priceless Ming-Qing imperial kiln masterpiece used as junk to prop up a table, boxes of untouched wild yellow croaker…
Lu Changqing hauled them into the modern world, sack after sack!
Starting out as an undocumented resident in an urban village, he built pharmaceutical companies, traded antiques, and founded a multinational conglomerate, sweeping through the modern capital markets.
Traveling between two worlds, he crushed both eras with an overwhelming advantage.
While others struggled to survive the famine, Lu Changqing rode the tide of the times and became the one and only overlord across both worlds.
The author's writing skills are excellent, the characters are detailed, and the characteristics of the times are accurately described. It is worth reading.
Not bad, good, tastes great
The content is important, and reading it makes me, an old man who is nearly eighty, feel like I am personally there. I should like it.
I recommend reading about ten of them, and they are very good so far! Come on!
The writing is good and has a real sense of the times. I give it an 8 points.
The society of decades ago is looming before our eyes, and there is a sense of bitterness and intimacy. How touching! Good!
It is written by a reader and has strong logic. I didn't make it up randomly, but it's still very interesting.
Nice. The storyline is unique and exciting!
The book is really good, but it's a bit annoying to keep repeating some parts. The low rating may be related to this. I read half of the reviews, and I hope the remaining half is also good 🙂
It's just beautiful, I like to watch it, it's interesting.
