Murder on the Night Boat

A bounty of seventy thousand taels sends eight factions toward the same border town.

The woman with a bounty on her head is Hua Xiangrong. Three years ago, she fled the Valley of Divine Physicians with a seven-year-old child, and has been on the run ever since. Among those hunting her are a destitute swordsman, an orphan of the Demon Cult, a constable from the Six Fan Gate, a mysterious monk, an intelligence chief, and a man hidden in the mist whose sword bears her name.

But when they all converge on Moonfall Town, they discover

The bounty was only bait.

The child is the real target.

And in the child’s dreams lies the final secret of someone who died seventeen years ago.

Through the jianghu night, people’s hearts drift like boats.

Some seek the truth, some seek revenge, and some seek someone who will never return.

When the night mist clears, who will still be alive to reach the shore?

A jianghu ensemble tale about “remembering” and “forgetting.”
