Destiny played a joke with Cheng Hope. His dead first love, Bai Yueguang, unexpectedly came back to life, but he completely forgot about her. Is this a loss of morality or a distortion of human nature? Cheng hopes to start a long road to pursue her husband. But this husband doesn't seem to have much need to chase him. He will attack himself and be jealous of himself.
"Do you love him or me."
"You are him."

This book is truly superbly written. It's obviously a somewhat heartbreaking story, but you can't help but smile when you read it - the author has created that sour and sweet, entangled and relieved feeling so well. The feeling of pull between the characters is very real. It is not the kind of tough abuse, but makes people feel empathy from the bottom of their hearts: How can someone be so good at writing "I compete with myself"? There are high-level sense of humor and delicate emotions between the lines, which made me hooked as I read it. What's even more rare is that it uses a particularly relaxed vernacular to explain complex propositions about love, memory and self-identity in a clear and healing way. It's not just about sprinkling sugar, nor is it about being tortured for the sake of being tortured, it's about making you smile and suddenly get a taste of life.
