“Mist City” is a coastal metropolis shrouded in a light fog all year round. On the surface, it’s a thriving modern city, but hidden beneath is a host of “anomalies” that science cannot explain: streets that vanish, dates that repeat, old objects that speak, and “strangers” who appear only under certain conditions. The city’s history stretches back to ancient times, and ruins connected to the “anomalies” lie buried underground. The fog acts as a “buffer zone” for the “anomalies,” and strange events become frequent when it grows dense.
