After Mistaking Him for My Wife, My Archenemy Panicked

[Severe face blindness / heightened sense of smell / possessive CEO VS fair-skinned beauty / master flirt / heiress from his family's sworn enemy]

The Shen and Lu families have been bitter enemies for generations in Beijing's elite circles.

Shen Jingjue is not only Lu Yici's sworn enemy, but also a notorious face-blind man and the abstinent bachelor rumored to be “impotent.”

For the sake of her family's interests, Lu Yici is forced to disguise herself as a man and go undercover by his side for three years. In the end, she has to return to women's clothing and marry Shen Jingjue in a marriage arranged to benefit their families.

On their wedding night, Shen Jingjue has no idea that his dazzling new wife is the “male assistant” he used to hate with a passion.

He says coldly, “I'm not interested in women. You're just here for show, got it?”

Lu Yici is more than happy to have an easy life. “Got it, got it!”

But the unique scent of fir on Lu Yici is Shen Jingjue's one fatal weakness.

Whenever he catches her scent, he can't control his surging hormones.

And so, the most bizarre scene in elite society unfolds:

In public, the two can't stand each other, and Lu Yici even humiliates Shen Jingjue at a banquet.

In private, Shen Jingjue buries his head in the crook of Lu Yici's neck like a big dog, his voice hoarse and plaintive. “Wife, let me smell you one more time. Just once...”

Lu Yici: “Get lost! We're a fake couple brought together by mutual corporate sabotage!”

Shen Jingjue: “I'm the plastic, and you're the straw. We were made for each other.”

Later, Lu Yici's secret identity is exposed. Shen Jingjue looks at the “male assistant” who used to infuriate him, now a soft and sweet wife beneath him, and smiles ominously. “Assistant Lu, we'll settle the score for these past three years in bed tonight.”
