Waiting for Dawn Through the Long Night

A gunshot rang out during a day of extra classes, and Wangri High School fell into a deathly silence.

A bizarre set of classroom rules suddenly appeared:

No shouting, no skipping the cafeteria line, no bringing prohibited items...

Violators would be severely punished.

The school gates were locked, all signals were cut off, and the lights kept going out.

Every time darkness fell, someone was left behind forever.

Classmates turned on each other, trust collapsed, and everyone fought to survive in desperate circumstances.

No one knew what had sparked this massacre.

No one could make sense of the links between the deaths.

And no one realized that everything, despite seeming chaotic,

had been unfolding according to a script written long ago, from beginning to end.

The endless night stretched on, and dawn never came.

Only when the truth was revealed did they understand:

The coldest thing in this world was never the rules.

It was the human heart, driven to the brink by reality.
