Summoning Cards Across the Heavens

I was initially drawn in by the title of the book. "Summoning Cards of the Heavens" sounds like the kind of cool novel where the protagonist travels through the heavens, summons gods and demons, and sweeps all the way. I admit, I just wanted to see this. But as I looked at it, I realized something was wrong. Thirty-five chapters have been written in the first volume, and the protagonist is still wandering around that border town. There is no traveling through the heavens, no summoning of gods and demons, there is just a lame veteran, an old man who makes medicine, a drunkard who drinks, and a poor boy who cannot repay his debts. According to the pace of Internet articles, this should have been criticized as "slow to take off". But I just can't let it go. I don't know why, but I want to know if Uncle Zhang's lame leg hurts after walking such a long way. I want to know what it feels like after drinking the bitter medicine from Lao Qiantou for more than thirty years. I want to know what was going through Lao Yaotou's mind when he was sitting at the door drinking. I wonder if Yao Er can finally let go after hating him for three hundred years. These people are not big shots. It cannot fly to the sky or escape from the earth, nor can it move mountains and fill seas. He knows how to use a few rudimentary knife skills, how to boil a pot of bitter medicine, and how to sit in a daze at the door. But they make me feel that they are alive. Chen Xu said that that card can summon people. Whatever is summoned is true. It has a past, a story, and its own thoughts. Uncle Zhang is real. The old money man is real. Old Yaotou is real. Lao Qi is real. Yao Er is real. That Xu Daniu who only lived for one chapter is real. The woman named Ah Qing who has been waiting for 30,000 years is also real. After reading Chapter 35, I finally understood what this book was about. It is not about how a person becomes stronger. It is about how a person changes back into a human being. Chen Xu came from the Origin Realm and was a big shot 30,000 years ago. But when he traveled through time, he didn't know anything. Indebted, beaten, and almost had his fingers chopped off. Then he met Uncle Zhang and learned the first sword technique. When you meet an old money man, you learn to drink bitter medicine. Meet old Yao Tou, learn to wait for others. Meet Lao Qi and learn to be protected. Meeting Yao Er, I learned to hate and let go. When I met Ah Qing, I learned that I still owed a debt 30,000 years ago. Little by little, he became a human again. That card only summoned two people from beginning to end. One is Uncle Zhang, and the other is Qian Gui's mother. But these two people are more important than summoning a hundred gods and demons. Because they are real. Some people say this book is slow. I don't think it's slow, but heavy. Sink, sink into those people's days, sink into those flowers blooming and falling, sink into those unspeakable things. The next volume is going to all the worlds. I don't know what it will be like. But I know that no matter where he goes, Chen Xu will carry Uncle Zhang's words with him: Wherever you go, I will go. That's enough.

I don't know what the book will turn out to be. According to the outline, there are still six worlds to write. Cultivation, prehistoric times, interstellar, underworld, gods, and heavens. How many years have we been cultivating each world, who will we meet in each world, and what battles will we fight in each world? But I believe in one thing: No matter which world he goes to, Chen Xu will always take Uncle Zhang's words with him: "Wherever you go, I will go." They will all carry Lao Qiantou's bowl of bitter medicine. They will all carry the old Yaotou's "die together" with them. They will all carry the shadow of those people. Because those people are real. If you want to watch a different "Judatenliu". If you want to see how a young man goes from a poor boy in debt to a person who is waiting to come back in three months. If you want to see how a group of old people use their remaining days to accompany a young man on a long journey. If you want to read a novel that has written more than 200,000 words and is still serious about telling stories, writing characters, and foreshadowing. You can try "Summoning Cards of the Heavens". It probably won't make you slap your thighs. But it will make you put down your phone after reading a certain chapter, look out the window, and be in a daze for a while. Then I remembered the lame veteran standing under the old locust tree and looking at the moon.

"Call of the Heavens Cards" is an anti-routine card flow of the Heavens, avoiding the clichés of Long Aotian's cool novels. After traveling through time, the protagonist Chen Xu first faced the crisis of debt and broken fingers. After being rescued by a lame veteran, he learned to survive in a shack. The "system + card" web setting was implemented in the fireworks atmosphere of "survive first". It has the imagination of Zhu Tianliu and the down-to-earth texture of survival. It is suitable for readers like me who like slow growth and don't like mindless fun [Blow kiss][Blow kiss][Blow kiss]

The content written by the author is very good, and the transition is also very good. I think it is worth noting that the author can change the cover. The cover can be said to be the face of the book. If the cover is not good, few people will open the book.

A very recommended novel
