At 3:17 that afternoon, Lin Mo's life was completely changed by an earthquake.
The TV screen suddenly went black and the whole apartment began to shake violently. In the chaos, he saw with his own eyes a glowing crack in the wall of the living room, and the outline of another city emerged inside - with upside-down skyscrapers and a purple sky. But in the blink of an eye, everything returned to normal, as if nothing had happened.
The doctor said that he just had a hallucination during the earthquake, but Lin Mo knew that it was not a hallucination. Because since then, he began to see more abnormalities: women in period costumes sitting on park benches, non-existent platforms occasionally appearing in subway tunnels, and late-night convenience store cashiers sometimes having an extra pair of arms.
The weirdest thing is that only he seems to be able to see this. When Lin Mo tried to shoot with his mobile phone, there were always only ordinary scenes in the picture. He begins to wonder if he is insane, until he encounters a mysterious old man in the library who calls himself "The Observer."
"You are not crazy," the old man said, "you are just beginning to see the truth of the world. The space we live in is collapsing, and the cracks you can see are the scars of the collision of two worlds."
When Lin Mo found that he could briefly travel to the other side of the crack, he realized that this "earthquake" was just the beginning. The two worlds are merging at an accelerated pace, and he may be the only one who can prevent disaster...
