The wedding plans of the General’s Mansion’s two young ladies set the capital ablaze!
The legitimate daughter is betrayed and a wastrel snatches her away; the illegitimate daughter is wrongly married off, then gets a divorce just three days later.
Then, by imperial decree, the disgraced illegitimate daughter marries the disabled, sinister Fourth Prince.
Everyone waits to laugh at her, only to get face-slapped after the wedding:
Heroine: Gentle and clear-headed, with superb medical skills. She knows how to put people in their place and protect her husband.
Hero: Stunningly handsome despite his disability. At first, he is a prickly, arrogant hedgehog; later, he becomes a clingy, devoted husband.
She heals his leg and warms his heart;
He pampers her endlessly and protects her, giving her a lifetime of peace.
