Stop Digging, Your Ancestors Really Can Talk

I, Qin Xiang, was a 26-year-old corporate drone. While touring Xi'an, I collapsed from low blood sugar and woke up as a Terracotta Warrior.

I couldn't move or speak. Everything before me was pitch-black.

The good news: I was bound to the Myriad Warriors Pay Homage to the Ancestors System.

The bad news: I was in an unopened underground section, where no one came to visit, so I couldn't absorb faith energy.

The even worse news: Digging sounds came from overhead. Tomb raiders were on their way down!

The System issued a beginner mission: scare off the intruders.

But I couldn't even move a finger. How was I supposed to scare anyone?

Just as the two tomb raiders reached me, the clay warrior to my left, silent for two thousand years,

turned its head on its own.
