Gu Chushi and Shen Yi'an are widely recognized as the entertainment industry's "number-one sworn enemies."
Their grudge goes way back: as kids, he "stole" the last plum candy the teacher was giving away as a reward!
In high school, Shen Yi'an always beat her grades. At last, when he came down with a fever during a mock exam, she vowed to avenge herself on the test, only for him to crush her by a single point overall!
As adults, they both entered the entertainment industry and became the media's "oil and water," scandal-proof pair.
Their fans fight every day: "Gu Chushi looks at Shen Yi'an like she wants to kill him!" "Shen Yi'an definitely hates Gu Chushi!"
Only Gu Chushi knows the truth:
Late at night, she secretly watches clips of Shen Yi'an performing onstage, unable to stop smiling;
He may seem aloof, but whenever she gets attacked online, he swoops into the comments at once to defend her.
Then one day, the whole internet went wild.
In a video secretly filmed by paparazzi, Gu Chushi asks him a question with red-rimmed eyes, and Shen Yi'an lowers his head to gently kiss away her tears.
The comments under the post explode: ??? Is this really something we're allowed to see?!
Gu Chushi covers her face in despair. "W-who said I wanted to ship us as a couple?!"
Shen Yi'an calmly fastens his suit jacket, a roguish smile playing on his lips as he wraps one arm around her and pulls her close.
"Chushi, quit acting. The whole internet is losing its mind shipping us. Why don't we make it real?"
